Strong thunderstorms will impact Somerset County... Franklin County

and Kennebec County through 8:15 PM EDT...

At 720 PM EDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a

strong thunderstorm centered along a line extending from 2 miles west

of Redington to 3 miles west of Kingfield to 4 miles southwest of

North Anson... or along a line extending from 8 miles east of Rangeley

to 21 miles east of Rangeley to 13 miles west of Skowhegan... moving

south at 35 mph. This strong thunderstorm will affect areas in and

around North Anson... Redington... Madison... Kingfield... Dallas...

Anson... New Portland... Salem... Madrid and Industry through 815 PM

EDT.

Hail up to three quarter inch in diameter... heavy downpours...

excessive cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds of 35 to 45 mph

can be expected.
