northwestern Knox County in south central Maine...
northern Lincoln County in south central Maine...
southern Somerset County in west central Maine...
southeastern Franklin County in western Maine...
western Waldo County in south central Maine...
Kennebec County in south central Maine...
* until 945 PM EDT
* at 643 PM EDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated
thunderstorms producing very heavy rainfall in the area. Radar
estimates are that 2 to 3 inches have fallen within the last 1 hour
and will gradually taper off and end by 8 PM. Until then rapid
runoff may cause flash flooding.

* Locations in the warning include but are not limited to Wilton...
Waterville... Unity... Thorndike... Oakland... Livermore Falls... Jay...
Fairfield... Clinton... China and Belgrade

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams... urban areas... highways... streets and underpasses
as well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
