Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 8 am Friday to 2 am EDT Saturday.
The National Weather Service in gray has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow and sleet... which is in effect from 8 am Friday
to 2 am EDT Saturday.
* Locations... all interior portions of southern and central Maine.
* Hazard types... snow then mixing with sleet and rain in the
afternoon and then possibly some freezing rain in some areas in the
evening.
* Accumulations... snow accumulation of 3 to 6 inches... along
with around a trace of ice.
* Timing... snow will spread across the region Friday morning and
then mix with sleet in the afternoon and continue into the
evening.
* Impacts... roads will become slippery and snow covered.
* Winds... east 10 to 20 mph.
* Temperatures... in the upper 20s to mid 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
