Tuesday Morning

Good morning Augusta, I hope you all made it through the storm without harm.

This morning it is overcast with a chance of a thunderstorm and rain. Fog early. High of 72F. Breezy. Winds from the ESE at 15 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100% with rainfall amounts near 0.5 in. possible.

Tonight it will remain overcast with rain. Fog overnight. Low of 54F. Winds from the ESE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 100% with rainfall amounts near 0.5 in. possible.

The readings taken from my own weather instrumentation are:

A relative humidity of 92% with a Dew Point of 60.2ºF and a wind chill of 50.3ºF.    

The temperature is 61.4ºF.

Presently we have  North winds between 5.6 MPH and 9.4 MPH. The maximum recorded gust here in Augusta's north end during the storm was 33 mph.

Our Barometric pressure is 29.59/HPA 1002.0 and falling with a weather graphic indicating rain.

The UV rating is 0 out of 16, sunset will be at 5:30 PM with Moon Rise at 5:34 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, and the moon phase is a full moon.

For those who made it through the blow in Maine, if you come upon a tree laying in the road, make DARN SURE there aren't any power lines wrapped in it before you get your chain saw out to dice it up and get it out of your way.
