Visibility is 1.5 miles/2.4 Kilometers with overcast to 500 ft / 152 m

We have had rain in this area in the past 24 hours of 0.05 inches, but that's just the start of it.

Remember what it was like around here after Irene went through last year, and how badly they underestimated rain damage. If they tell you to have 3 days of supplies on hand, get at least double that amount. And for Pete's sake make sure your generator works.

Remember you are dealing with advice from governmental officials who base that advice on computer models.

If you want to know how much you can trust advice from FEMA, ask folks from New Orleans who went home after  Katrina.
