Widely scattered thunderstorms possible this evening...
A cold front will approach from the northwest this evening. The
atmosphere out ahead of the front has become moist and unstable in
the wake of the morning showers. As the cold front progresses into
Maine and New Hampshire this evening... a few thunderstorms may
develop. If a storm does indeed develop and approach... take
shelter immediately. Any storm will be capable of producing gusty
winds... hail... frequent cloud to ground lightning... and heavy
downpours. The threat will exist through the evening hours.
