Winds in excess of 40 mph are possible with this storm. Locations impacted include... Lewiston, Brunswick, Topsham, Freeport, Litchfield, Lisbon, Greene, Durham, Bowdoin, Bowdoinham, Sabattus, New Gloucester, Pownal, Poland, Wales and Richmond. This includes the following highways... Interstate 295 between mile markers 23 and 45. Interstate 95 between mile markers 72 and 93. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Hot with highs in the lower 90s. Southwest winds around 10 mph gusting to 30 mph this afternoon. Heat index values in the upper 90s. Tonight we'll have partly cloudy conditions with a chance of showers and thunderstorms during evening hours. Areas of fog after midnight with some thunderstorms producing gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning in the evening. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times after midnight.
