The National Weather Service in gray has issued a frost advisory which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am EDT Sunday. * Temperatures... in the in the upper 20s to mid 30s. * Timing... temperatures will dip into the upper 20s to mid 30s after midnight. * Impacts... frost or freezing temperatures likely.   Precautionary/preparedness actions... A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

Good morning Augusta This morning we have a mix of clouds and sun early followed by cloudy skies this afternoon. Highs will be around 55F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph. Tonight we’ll have cloudy skies that will become partly cloudy after midnight. Lows will be around 41F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. The readings from my own instruments are: The humidity is 68% with a dew point of 34ºF and a temperature of 42.8ºF and the wind chill is 42ºF. The wind direction is Northwest between 2.4 MPH and 3.0 MPH. The Barometric pressure is 30.39 HPA 1028 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun. Good morning Augusta Put a sweater on this morning, its October now and theres getting to be a chill in the air. This morning we have sunshine and clouds mixed with a high near 60F. Winds are out of the N at 15 to 25 mph. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.  Tonight we’ll have mainly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a rain shower. Lows will be 43F. Good morning Augusta We’re under a flood watch, and its pouring out there. Slow down! This morning we have cloudy conditions with periods of rain, some heavy early. Highs near 65F. Winds NNE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 100%. 3 to 5 inches of rain expected. Localized Tonight we’ll have cloudy skies with periods of light rain early. Low 46F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph. Special Statement

Special Statement Statement as of 5:49 am EDT on September 30, 2015 Heavy rain this morning. Rain will become increasingly heavy across Maine and New Hampshire through 9 am. Hourly rainfall rates could approach 2 inches per hour in spots. Expect smaller creeks and streams to rise quickly with some perhaps exceeding bankfull. Flooding of roads and other poor drainage spots is expected as well. Motorists are urged to use caution this morning as significant ponding of water on roadways is expected along with occasionally poor visibility. The heaviest rain is expected to taper off first across southern New Hampshire late this morning... then across Maine early this afternoon.
