Good morning from the northwest end of Augusta , Maine . We have a sunny and cool morning, with temps rising to the mid 70's for an absolutely fantastic day. Tonight's temperatures are not expected to drop below the mid to upper 50's with low wind.     This morning's readings are: a relative humidity of 86% with a Dew Point of 47.3ºF.2ºF. The temperature is 51.5ºF, with no wind chill with as little wind as we have so far this morning.   The wind velocity this morning is between 1.3 mph and 3.0 mph out of the West Southwest. Chilly friday morning

Good morning from the northwest end of Augusta , Maine . We have a truly cold morning, with temps dropping below 32º this morning. Fortunately we have little or no wind. Today's temperatures are not expected to rise above the mid to upper 50's with low wind. Tonight temps won't get much below 40, and tomorrow is slated to be a gorgeous day.   This morning's readings are: a relative humidity of 82% with a Dew Point of 35.2ºF. The temperature is 40.5ºF. The area frost warning expired at 8 a.m. this morning, but we're going to get it again tonight. Unprotected plants left out of doors will suffer. Today's temps are not expected to go above the upper 50's, with a real dip in the overnight temps to the 30's – with frosts expected away from the coast into interior areas. Second post for Sunday

Good evening from Augusta Maine. It has been a wet, windy and cool day with temps reaching 60ºF only once today. Winds have averaged between 5 mph and 14 mph all day long. The barometer   has remained at 29.84 to 29.88, being its high reading for the day. In the past 24 hours we have registered just under .75 inches of rain, with a two day total of just under 1.5 inches. We are not under a flood watch here in Augusta, but one is in effect for Oxford county Maine.
