Good morning Augusta

Click here to view weather readings in real time from my own personal wireless weather station.

We’re under a Wind Advisory until 3 this afternoon, which I’ve posted in full in the post below this one.

This morning we have partly sunny skies and much colder temps with highs in the lower 20s. Winds are West 15 to 25 mph gusting to 50 mph. Wind chill values are as low as 1 below.

Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy conditions during evening hours becoming mostly clear. Lows around 6°F above. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph gusting to 35 mph. Wind chill values as low as 5 below so don’t leave pets outside.

The outdoor temperature is 16.4°F, the dewpoint is 3.5°F and the wind chill is 0.2°F.

We received  0.58 inches of rain here over the past 24 hours.

Today’s sunrise is 6:18 AM, sunset is 5:26 PM and we’ll have 11 hours 8 minutes of daylight today. Moonrise is 10:55 PM and Moonset is 8:12 AM. The moon phase is Waning Gibbous and is 81% illuminated. Our next Full Moon is on March 25 and our next new moon will be on March 10.

Our peak recorded wind gust overnight is 42.5, so if you heard the windows rattle early this moorning, that’s why.

The wind velocity is between 12.5 MPH and 28.2 MPH from the West.

The Relative pressure is 29.74, the Absolute pressure is 29.54 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun and a few clouds.

The Humidity is 56%, the UV index is 1 placing the average person at low risk and the solar radiation reading is 149.6W/m2.

Visibility is 10.0 Miles / 16.1 Kilometers with partly cloudy skies.
