A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of southwestern Kennebec, southeastern Oxford and Androscoggin Counties through 9:15 AM EDT.  
At 8:51 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over  
Mechanic Falls, moving northeast at 60 mph. 
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. 
SOURCE...Radar indicated. 
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.  
Locations impacted include... 
Lewiston, Gardiner, Mechanic Falls, Turner, Litchfield, Livermore  
Falls, Farmingdale, Manchester, Hallowell, Winthrop, Lisbon, Greene,  
Bowdoin, Leeds, Buckfield, Hebron, Fayette, Wales, Otisfield and  
Sabattus. 
This includes the following highways... 
Interstate 295 between mile markers 49 and 51. 
Interstate 95 between mile markers 74 and 105. 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. 
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to  
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded  
roadways.
