Strong to Severe Thunderstorms Possible this Afternoon and Evening.

As of early afternoon...numerous showers and thunderstorms are  developing across upstate New York. These showers and storms will continue to strengthen as they move east and will bring the potential for severe weather across much of New Hampshire and
western Maine this afternoon and evening. The primary threat from  these thunderstorms will be damaging winds and dangerous lightning.
Large hail and heavy rain will also be possible.
The primary timeframe where severe weather will be possible is
between 2 pm and 8 pm. Please stay tuned to the National Weather Service or your local media outlet for further updates.
