AN AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT WEST CENTRAL KENNEBEC AND NORTHEASTERN ANDROSCOGGIN COUNTIES...

At 1:59 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were clustered near Winthrop, or 12 miles northeast of Turner, moving northeast at 15 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include... Augusta, Turner, Belgrade, Livermore Falls, Manchester, Winthrop, Leeds, Livermore, Fayette, Sidney, Wayne, Readfield, Mount Vernon, Rome, Monmouth and Vassalboro.

This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 111 and 119.
