Mid day weather, Augusta ME

Good afternoon from the very soggy and wet northwest end of Augusta, Maine.

So far, the power remains on with only spiratic loss of satellite signals. Cell phone services remains intact as does the regular land line telephone service.

None of it is going to last folks, so I hope you are prepared.

It is raining steadily now (just over 2 inches since midnight) , but thus far, not in a drenching, horizontal manner.

The relative humidity is 97%

Wind velocity is up to 5.4 MPH out of the east, northeast, today's maximum gust was 19.2 mph.

Barometric pressure is 29.44 and dropping

For Augusta's north end, we're getting off lucky so far.
