It is also possible sleet and freezing rain may mix in at times near the coast and parts of southern New Hampshire. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Good morning Augusta We’re under a winter storm watch through Sunday. I’ve posted the text of the watch earlier this morning, better scroll down and read it. This morning we have mostly sunny skies with much colder temps, highs around 15°F. Northwest winds around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph this morning, becoming light and variable. Wind chill values as low as 14 below this morning. Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy skies, then cloudy with a chance of snow after midnight. Lows around 5°F. Light and variable winds. The readings from my weather instruments are: The Wind Chill is -8.7°F, Dew Point is -18.2°F, the humidity is 32%, and the outdoor temp is 5.4°F.
