Clear, sunny and cold this morning

Good morning Augusta. This morning it is clear with a High of 25F. Winds from the West at 5 to 10 mph. Tonight it will be clear with a Low of 3F. Winds less than 5 mph. The readings from my own weather instruments are: The humidity is 54% with a dew point of -8.5ºF , Temperature is  4.7ºF and a wind chill of 4.7ºF Our wind direction is Southwest  between 1.1 MPH and 2.3 MPH. Wind chill advisory update

Wind Chill Advisory Statement as of 3:17 PM EST on February 23, 2015 Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 7 PM this evening to 8 am EST Tuesday. * hazard types... dangerous wind chills. * Wind chill... 20 to 28 below. * Timing... the coldest wind chill values are expected to be this  evening into the pre-dawn hours. * Impacts... frost bite and hypothermia are possible. * Winds... northwest 5 to 15 mph. * Temperatures... 15 below to zero.   Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and gloves. Remember to bring your pets inside.
