#MEwx warm temps with high pressure and "Does a full moon really change people's behaivior?"

Good morning Augusta

This morning we have sunny skies with highs in the lower 60s. Winds are light and variable.

Tonight we’ll have mostly clear conditions with areas of frost after midnight. Lows in the upper 30s with light and variable winds.

The outdoor temperature is 38.7°F, the Dew Point is 36.6°F and it feels like 38.7°F.

We didn’t receive any rain here over the past 24 hours.

Sunrise is 6:39 am, sunset is 6:20 PM and we’ll have 11 hours 40 minutes of daylight today.

Moonrise is 4:17 PM,  Moonset is 12:58 AM. The moon phase is Waxing Gibbous and is 71% illuminated. Our next full moon will be on October 7 and our next new moon is on October 21.

The wind is from the North Northeast between 1.6 MPH and 3.8 MPH.

The Relative pressure is 30.22, the Absolute pressure is 30.02 and rising with a weather graphic indicating sun and a few clouds.

The humidity is 91%, the UV index is 0 placing the average person at low risk and the solar radiation reading is 31.9W/M2.

Visibility is 10.0 miles / 16.1 Kilometers with mostly sunny skies again.

Recently I’ve done some research online about whether or not science has been able to show that phases of the moon, such as a full moon effects human behavior.

Sadly, science STILL falls back on studies that reinforce previous studies “clearly showing” that the moon has no effect on what “we” do during the full of the moon.

My father was a police officer, my sister in law is a career Emergency Room nurse, my brother was a paramedic prior to retirement, my wife was a court clerk and I worked in the medical benefits industry as an attorney for my entire legal career where I saw it every single month.

According to science all of us are wrong and they’re right. But then again, this is the same field of study that always said there was no medical benefit to eating chicken soup and that Barometric pressure had no impact on such things as aches and pains, sinus headaches or blood pressure. At one point they also insisted that the world is flat. (Has anyone researched the latest conspiracy theory on that last one?)

I guess we’ll just have to wait for science to prove themselves wrong again.
