DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EST THIS EVENING
WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST FRIDAY
* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, visibility of a quarter-mile or
less in dense fog.
For the Wind Advisory, west winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50
mph expected Friday.
* WHERE...Portions of south central, southwest, and western Maine.
* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 9 PM EST this evening.
For the Wind Advisory, from 7 AM to 7 PM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous this evening.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Secure outdoor objects.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.
