Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of northern Kennebec, southern Somerset and southeastern Franklin Counties through 5:00 PM
EDT.
At 431 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Norridgewock to 7 miles northwest of
Belgrade to Livermore Falls. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Augusta, Waterville, Fairfield, Oakland, Jay, Belgrade, Livermore
Falls, Manchester, Winthrop, Benton, Chesterville, Fayette, Sidney,
Smithfield, Wayne, Rome, Winslow, Mount Vernon, Vassalboro and
Readfield.
This includes Interstate 95 between mile markers 116 and 132.
