We didn’t receive any rain here over the past 24 hours.

Recently I posted some comments about presidential candidates that came from regular folks like us out here in the real world.

Some comments were well received, some were not.  Ah yes, freedom of speech!

Below is another comment from some people overheard talking at one of the many ice cream stands I frequent during summer weather.

“Yeah, yeah.  Know what drives me nuts about this season’s crop of wanna-be presidentials?  One is a filthy rich woman with some experience as an appointee in the white house, after she was first lady in the white house.  She’s spending a lot of time pretending that she knows what the rest of us want and need.

Then we have a billionaire who was born into millions who is pretty much a mouthy, spoiled brat with not one wit of political experience, who is also trying to tell us that he understands us working folks.  Then there is Bernie.  And all three of them wonder why “us” out here are disgusted with the crop of candidates?  Christ.”

They say you will blurt out the truth when drunk, during sex and while under the influence of a hot fudge sundae.
