Strong thunderstorms will impact Somerset County... Waldo County
and Kennebec County through 630 PM EDT...
At 524 PM EDT National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated a
line of showers and thunderstorms centered along a line extending
from near North Anson to near Freedom... or along a line extending
from 12 miles northwest of Skowhegan to 5 miles west of Thorndike.
This line of thunderstorms was nearly stationary. Pockets of heavy
rain were falling along with some small hail. This line of storms
will affect areas in and around Clinton... North Anson...
Skowhegan... Canaan... Burnham... Embden... Unity... and Fairfield
through 630 PM EDT.
Heavy rainfall can be expected... with local ponding in streets and
low-lying areas. Some small hail is also possible.
