Fog, clouds and rain today

Good morning Augusta This morning we have mixed clouds and sun with scattered thunderstorms. Highs will be near 84F with winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 60%. Tonight we’ll have partly cloudy skies with a stray shower or thunderstorm being possible. Lows will be near 65F. Winds light and variable. The National Weather Service in gray has issued a dense fog advisory which is in effect until 9 am EDT this morning. * Visibilities... one quarter mile or less at times. * Timing... through 9 am Monday morning. * Impacts... dense fog will reduce visibility and make driving difficult.   Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
