Flash flood watch

Flash Flood Watch Statement as of 2:27 PM EDT on October 16, 2014 Flash Flood Watch in effect from 6 PM EDT this evening through late tonight. The National Weather Service in gray has expanded the * Flash Flood Watch to include a portion of western Maine... including the following areas... Androscoggin... coastal Cumberland... coastal Waldo... coastal York... interior Cumberland... interior Waldo... interior York... Kennebec... Knox... Lincoln and Sagadahoc. * From 6 PM EDT this evening through late tonight * rain will become heavy at times late this afternoon in Maine and continue into the overnight hours. The main concern is for south through east facing higher terrain of the western Maine mountains and foothills. 3 to 4 inches of rain will be possible in these areas and this may lead to isolated flash flooding. This morning it is overcast with rain showers, then a chance of a thunderstorm and rain showers in the afternoon. Fog early. High of 66F. Winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 90%. Tonight it will be overcast with a chance of a thunderstorm and rain. Low of 57F. Winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 100% with rainfall amounts near 1.7 in. possible. The readings from my own weather instruments are: The humidity is   92% with a Dew Point of 63ºF, Temp is 65.5ºF with a wind chil of 65.5ºF.
