Severe Thunder Storm Watch

Severe Thunderstorm Watch Expires 3:00 AM EDT on July 24, 2012 Statement as of 7:15 PM EDT on July 23, 2012 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of western and southern Maine and northern New Hampshire Effective this Monday night and Tuesday morning from 7:15 PM until 3:00 am EDT. A cold front will approach from the northwest this evening. The atmosphere out ahead of the front has become moist and unstable in the wake of the morning showers. As the cold front progresses into Maine and New Hampshire this evening... a few thunderstorms may develop. If a storm does indeed develop and approach... take shelter immediately.
